US-China Film Summit 2018

In its 9th year, our US-CHINA FILM SUMMIT has grown considerably. This year, we changed the name to an “Entertainment” Summit because the film, well, is so limiting. So this year we featured Albert Cheng, COO/Co-Head of Television at Amazon Studios; and Kevin Lin, co-founder of Twitch; and honored Kevin Tsujihara, CEO of Warner Bros. which is clearly more than just a film studio.

But we have not forgotten our beloved film brethren either. By most accounts, one of the highlights of the day was the conversation I moderated between one of China’s most celebrated actor/director/producers, Xu Zheng, and someone I chose to be his great counterpart — Billy Bob Thornton.
