Preparing for Empty Nest Syndrome

To help me prepare for inevitable empty nest syndrome in one year, a beautiful dove laid eggs in my patio.She was a beautiful sight to behold, patient, steadfast. She nurtured her babies with love and care. And then they flew the coop - leaving a lot of sh-t behind in the nest.

Is this what I have to look forward to?
